Historical Charloisse Lagedijk
In the 13th century Charlois was a polder. The Charloisse Lagedijk was a major dike, because it connected the Dorpsweg and the Dordtsestraatweg (two other major streets in the south of Rotterdam) with each other.
On both sides of the Charloisse Lagedijk is a lot of green. Which make it a perfect place for a walk or a run.

Picturesque Boterdorpse Verlaat
Boterdorps Verlaat is a beautiful tiny street in the Bergse Voorplas area, a perfect place for a walk.
The Boterdorpse Verlaat is a lock with miter gates between the Rotte and the Strekvaart in the Bergse Plassen in the municipality of Rotterdam. The waterway was used flushing ships malt waste from Schiedam but nowadays even for pleasure no longer important.
